The provisional dates for the BPS Mathematics, Statistics and Computing section Annual Scientific Meeting are now available. The meeting will be held at Nottingham Trent University on the 14 December 2010. The meeting will be combined with an CPD workshop on the 13th December (also at NTU).The workshop will be aimed at early career researchers and as of writing four half-day workshops have been scheduled. The planned workshop sessions are:
R: An introduction for psychologists (Thom Baguley & Danny Kaye)
Bayesian data analysis: An introduction for psychologists (Mark Andrews)
Linear mixed models using R (Andy Fugard)
An introduction to PsychoPy (Jonathan Peirce)
